Prayer For You! 5/15/2015

Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We pray that you’ll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us. (‭Colossians‬ ‭1‬:‭9-12‬ MSG)

Heavenly Father, we thank you for allowing us to see another day! Thank you for being our redeemer and our deliver. Thank you for being our sovereign God and that we can put all of our hope and trust in you.  Thank you that we can begin our day knowing that we can cast all our cares to you because you care for us. Lord thank you that you have called each of us to pray without ceasing and to remember our brothers and sisters in prayer. Lord, I lift up every person reading this to you. I pray continuously that each person will abide in you. You said in your word that if we abide in you that you would abide in us and that we can bare much fruit. I pray that as we abide in you that we would grow more in our knowledge of you and your will and your ways. I pray that we grow more in the knowledge of your will for our lives according to your Holy Word. Father, grant us all spiritual wisdom and spiritual understanding so that we can walk in a manner worthy of you. Lord, thank you for loving us unconditionally. Thank you that you still love us even on the days we fall short of our glory. Lord convict our hearts of any wrong doing, wrong thinking, wrong motives and anything displeasing to you. Help us to turn from those ways and repent. Lord, thank you for being a forgiving God and thank you for being a God that orders our steps for you said in your word the steps of a Good man are ordered by the Lord. Father, we humble ourselves before you as we obediently allow you to order our steps along the path you predestined for us. Thank you that we can trust in your word that says you know the plans you have for us. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Thank you that you have plans to give us hope and a future. Lord, when things aren’t going the way we hoped or planned help us to remember to trust in you with all of our heart and lean not on our own understanding. Help us to remember to always acknowledge you in our situations and trust that you are directing our paths. Lord your word says that the just shall walk by faith and not by sight. When we can’t see how the end will be or how our prayer will be answered help us to remember to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to you so that your peace that surpasses all understanding may fall over us that you may continuously guard our hearts and minds through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  No matter what we face we trust that all things are working for the good of those that love you. Lord thank you for your word that says that if two or three of us on earth agree about anything we ask for that it will be done by our father in heaven. So Lord we thank you and stand with a heart of expectancy that because we have touched and agreed that you will bring these things to pass. Thank you that you will do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask you for or imagine. In Jesus Name. Amen
